Girls into Maths Summer School

"[I enjoyed] meeting other people like me and getting introduced to topics beyond the maths curriculum. It's truly challenged me and I enjoyed it!" - Girls into Maths attendee

At the end of the Summer term 2025, we hosted Girls into Maths, a two-day summer school for year 10 students. We welcomed over 30 like-minded maths lovers who spent the two days pushing their learning beyond the maths curriculum, challenging themselves with problem solving and seeing where maths and further maths will take them in future. Students attended specially-designed lessons with our teachers, heard a talk from mathematician Alison Kiddle, visited the science museum to see how maths relates to engineering and game design, and had a tour of Imperial College London to see where maths will take them at university and beyond.
